I Want Government To Rehabilitate Me – Terrorist Kingpin, ‘Giwa’ Demanded After Confessing To Killing 20 Policemen, Soldiers

A notorious terrorist leader, Ibrahim Salihu, also known as Giwa, has confessed to the brutal killings of around 20 security personnel, including police officers, soldiers, and local vigilantes in Zamfara State.

During his interrogation by the police, Salihu admitted to the murders, revealing that some of the victims were police, army officers, and members of local vigilante groups. He disclosed that he had received firearms training from leaders associated with the notorious kingpin Alhaji Shingi, and had used an AK47 rifle in his deadly operations.

Salihu described the structured nature of his criminal activities, attributing his knowledge of handling firearms to his mentors. He disclosed that his group’s operational base was located in Zamfara State, specifically within the Birnin Magaji local government area.

Regarding his group’s kidnapping activities, Salihu confessed to targeting individuals who he believed could pay ransom, indicating financial gain as a driving force behind his crimes.

Despite his criminal background, Salihu shared personal struggles, saying, “Both my parents are still alive. but faced difficulties in providing for themselves.

If the police hand me over to the family of those I killed, they will not spare me and I don’t want to be killed, I want to repent.

I want the government to assist and take me to where I will be able to practise Islam and worship my God. I want the government to also take care of my rehabilitation.
