Paris Saint-Germain Football Club have suspended Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi, for two weeks over an unauthorised visit to Saudi Arabia.
French outlet RMC Sport reports that Messi was suspended with immediate effect for his trip to the Arabian country.
The report said everything had been considered by the club for what is described internally as a “serious mistake” by the football star.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier has promised his players that they would have two days off, Monday and Tuesday, if they defeated Lorient on Sunday.
However, Galtier made it clear that a loss would see the players being called in for training on Monday.
Messi signed off on a deal last year to serve as a tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia, and he had planned to take a trip to the country.
Galtier and sporting director Luis Campos gave him approval to go only if PSG win or draw, but not a defeat.
However, following the 3-1 defeat to Lorient, Messi flew to Saudi Arabia without asking again for permission, meaning he could not attend training on Monday
