According to the video making rounds on the internet, showing where Nollywood Veteran actor, Pete Edochie met with the Revered Ooni of Ife. How he failed to genuflect according to the Yoruba tradition.
Recall that this singular video garnered many reactions as people aired their views.
In response to this, the Veteran actor has allegedly taken to the public to address the issue and state reasons for his actions.

Dear Nigerians.
I have read many reactions asking why I didn’t prostrate to greet the Oni of Ife.
Well, for your information, I am a titled man. And in a place where I come from, we only bow to Chukwu, not any man.
We have a culture and in our culture, we don’t bow to any man.
As a titled man, I can also shake American president, or UN secretary without bowing to him.
It is my culture and I represent it anywhere I go”.
