There was excitement surrounding the supreme court ruling of the Osun 2022 gubernatorial election, which upheld Senator Jackson Ademola Adeleke as the victor and the duly elected governor of the state, despite the ongoing controversies surrounding the results of the 2023 presidential election and the start of the pre-hearing process at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).
This tremendous success at the Supreme Court is thanks to Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN, the lead attorney for the Labour Party’s legal team.
Following his triumph at the Apex Court yesterday (Tuesday), Peter Obi’s attorney, SAN Onyechi Ikpeazu, has received appreciation from OBIdients, in response to this development.
Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was confirmed as the elected governor of Osun State by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, May 9, when it was in session in Abuja.
In response to this event, a tweep, Gbadebo Rhodes, who is a Labour Party supporter, exulted on his official Twitter account that the venerable Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) will repeat his outstanding achievement in securing Adeleke’s election as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
He continued to praise Ikpeaz SAN on Twitter by writing; “ Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, He has done it For Senator Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, With God he will do it again for our dear Daddy Mr Peter Obi. Then all Obidients will celebrate together. “
Be aware that the petitions contesting the results of the February 25 presidential election have begun to be pre-heard at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja.
In the Peter Obi case against Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Oyechi Ikpeazu is the principal attorney.
